KMI HVAC MECHANICAL INC is a locally owned company that is dedicated to the ideals of customer satisfaction, fair pricing, quality workmanship, and professional service.  Kyle Ihme, Master Technician and Owner, started at a very young age learning the HVAC trade from his father Russell Ihme.  Russ was known throughout the HVAC industry for teaching duct work design, airflow design, and full system design classes around the country.  Russ readily passed on his knowledge and experience to his son and encouraged him to further his education at IVY Tech Community College where Kyle graduated in Manufacturing/Industrial Technology.  Kyle went on to put this knowledge into practice, doing both residential and commercial HVAC work all over the state of Indiana for over 10 years.

Kyle shared his knowledge of the trade with his wife, Melanie Ihme (Owner and CSR).  Together they decided to put their secular careers on hold and use their skill set to do volunteer work throughout Indiana.  Eventually they volunteered full-time on a major industrial size project in New York, helping to build the World Headquarters of Jehovah’s Witnesses, a non-profit organization.   Now they have returned back home to Indiana and founded KMI HVAC MECHANICAL INC.  Kyle and Melanie have happily been able to use their knowledge and experience to provide their community, friends, and neighbors with the highest quality of service.
